Samara Cuisine Lebanese Cookery Classes

Samara Cuisine Lebanese Cookery Classes

Great value for money cooking classes as a treat for you and all your family, friends or work colleagues. The cooking course will be held on the 2nd October, 2010. The session will cost £65.00 including ingredients. I will cover a range of authentic, healthy, quick, easy and very tasty Lebanese meals to prepare.

In these hard times, everyone is asking, "How can I cut the prices on my shopping bill?". I will have all the answers for you: Where to buy, how to shop, how long it will take to prepare, how to store the food, and how to be healthy and have plenty of time to spare to enjoy yourself and look after your family.

Each session starts at 11:00 am and finishes at 2:00pm.

All participants will take home a plate of Baklava, a bag of flat Lebanese bread, all the recipes and general cooking tips.

On the 2nd October, 2010, I will cook a very traditional Lebanese 3 course meal.

1. Spinach parcels with Onion, Lemon juice and Pine nuts.
2. Mohgrabieh, one of the oldest and most traditional Lebanese dish made with Chicken, Lamb, Chick peas and Caraway seeds.
3. Home-made sfouf - a traditional Lebanese cake with Turmeric and Almond.

You will learn how to cook, store, and make various dishes.
Each cooking session can accommodate up to 10 people. Everyone prepares and helps to put together the meal and at the end of each session, we all sit down with a glass of Lebanese wine or a glass of Almond Juice to have a well earned lunch.

Dear Mona,

Thank you for letting me into your home and sharing some of your cooking tips. That was a delightful group of women and I am sure they all enjoyed it as much as I did. I shall have to make a shopping trip back to the middle eastern stores and pack a cooler to bring back the frozen items. That feta was delicious and I am not really big on feta find it to salty. Just a note to thank you so much for such a lovely time yesterday. It was huge fun and such a nice group. Catherine and I recognised each other from a cookery class we both did a few weeks ago in central London. We agreed that we preferred yours! I shall be trying the Mulukhieh this week.

Sorry its taken me so many days to email you, but had a busy week at work, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the day on Saturday. I already made the Baba Ghanouj and am looking forward to making the lamb dish as soon as I have some time free!

Please let me know when you are doing other classes as I’m really keen to come to another one to learn more about Lebanese cuisine.
